AARON KUZNIA FOR HOPKINS CITY COUNCIL

I’m Aaron Kuznia and I’m running again for a seat on the Hopkins City Council. As many of you are aware, I previously served one term on the council seat. I wasn’t finished then, and I am ready to run again! I have continued to keep the progress in Hopkins at the forefront, and I would like the opportunity to be a part of a great team of city leaders. I want to continue to keep our community moving forward with positive change.
 
Over the past few years, we have seen some big changes in Hopkins as the completion of the SWLRT through our community comes to fruition. With that, it will continue to bring a host of options in the city’s housing, infrastructure needs, and business growth and opportunity. I feel that my past community involvement on City Council from 2015-2020, and earlier volunteer opportunities on the Park Board, Planning & Zoning Commission, paired with a sound knowledge and background in civil engineering bodes well for continued redevelopment of our hometown. 
 
My experiences working on municipal design, construction inspection, and construction project management for the past 27 years have given me a sound understanding of redevelopment, and the importance of doing things right.
